The Hunt for the Seventh

With every step he takes around the carefully manicured grounds of Minerva Hall, Jim is haunted by the ghosts of children, long dead, whom no one else can see. Urging him to “find the Seventh,” the children leave him cryptic clues pointing to a devastating ancient prophecy that only he can stop from being fulfilled.
Jim befriends another boy – Einstein, who lives at the hall. Einstein is autistic and very, very smart. If anyone can help Jim find the Seventh, perhaps he can – Einstein clearly knows more than he is saying. At the same time, the children seem to be leaving Jim some sort of macabre treasure trail.
If Jim doesn’t figure out the clues, innocent people will die. But how can he find the answers while the dangers of the Hall grow ever more threatening? And even if he can, the real question is – is Jim already too late?

Harry Potter and the goblet of fire.

Harry Potter and the Weasleys go to watch the Quidditch World Cup. On that same night, the illegal Dark Mark appears in the sky. When Harry gets back to Hogwarts, he finds out a surprise. The competition between three of the magic schools is taking place this year. This is a very rare event, since it only happens once every five years but hasn't happened for ages because lots of the competitors died. Viktor Krum, a participator in the Triwizard Tournament, is from one of these amazing wizard schools. Hogwarts is the contest's location this year. Even though Harry is not old enough to enter, his name appears inside the magic goblet. He is in. But he soon will learn that the reason he was secretly entered was to put his and the rest of the world's life in danger......

Who killed my daughter??

The most difficult book Lois Duncan ever had to write was non-fiction. Who Killed My Daughter? is the true story of her search for the truth behind the brutal murder of the youngest of her five children. Although written for adults, this book was named a School Library Journal "Best Book Of the Year" and an American Library Association “Best Book For Young Adults.”
Kaitlyn Arquette, 18, was shot to death in her car in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1989. Although police pronounced the murder a random-driveby-shooting, Kaitlyn’s family believes she was deliberately killed because she was preparing to blow the whistle on organized crime. The case is still unsolved, but the family’s personal investigation is on-going. New information continues to surface.
